Melmalayanur Union Panchayat Ranks First in Corruption – Eye Media Tamil
In the Government Primary School functioning under Paruthipuram Panchayat, the toilet renovation work was undertaken three months ago under the Tamil Nadu Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department’s Single-Installment Development Scheme (SIDS) 2024–2025, with an allocated budget of Rs. 1,23,100.
However, the work was carried out with extremely poor standards and negligence. As a result, the toilets are currently unusable.
Furthermore, due to the lack of water facilities and cleanliness, students from Classes 1 to 5 are being forced to urinate in open spaces. This is an act that compromises both the health and dignity of young children.
This fraud has been exposed by Mr. Mahendran, the State Youth Joint Secretary of the Ten Rupees Movement.
